Sweet Apple Crumble Loaded Croissant
A scrumptious croissant filled with sweet apple pie filling and creamy Custilla custard, finished with a delightful sugary crumble topping.
Ingredients:
GROUP 1 – FILLING
750g apple pie fill
120ml milk
75g caster sugar
75g EOI custilla custard mix
2g cinnamon
CRUMBLE TOPPING
190g sugar
50g butter
110g plain flour
90g coconut
Method
1) Place all ingredients from Group 1 into a bowl and mix until combined.
2) Place all ingredients from crumble topping into a bowl and mix until crumbled.
3) Take each La Parisienne Large Butter Croissant, and when set out on a tray to thaw, press 30g of crumble topping onto the top, then proof and bake as normal. To view proofing & baking instructions click on the following: Proofing and Baking Guidelines
4) Take the crumbled topped croissant and cut in half and add 80g of apple/custard filling onto the base.
5) Bake at 200°c for approximately 5 minutes.
